Script Excerpt:

Dangerous Dan sat at the wheel, revving the engine of the big red racing car.

"Vrrrmh, vrrrrmh!!!"

The engine purred, ready to race down the long stretch of road and into the distant hills. Dangerous Dan pressed the gas pedal to the floor and the car leaped away, speeding down the road. A huge cloud of dust billowed up behind his car, and the wind whipped through his hair.

Just as he reached the first set of curves in the road, Dangerous Dan heard a sound far behind him. He twisted the steering wheel back and forth, racing around every curve in the road. The sound he had heard got louder and louder . . . it was a police car! He was going too fast, and now he was in trouble! Dangerous Dan tried to slow down, but the gas pedal stuck, and the car kept tearing around the corners. He needed someone to help him with the wheel, while he tried to fix the pedal, but there was nobody around to help him.

The police siren was louder now, and pretty soon the police car was blasting his horn at Dangerous Dan. The horn blasts got so loud that Dangerous Dan finally let go of the steering wheel to cover his ears.

Dangerous Dan blinked, then looked at the school bus stopped in front of him. The driver blasted the horn again, and shouted down at him.

"Hey, kid, I'm not gonna say it again. Get on the bus or you'll make us all late for school!". . ."
