This painting was done as the cover for the first issue of Malibu's Comics' Ms. Fury series. Based on the
1940's comic strip character, Black Fury, the updated version was a popular success for Malibu, and Ms. Fury was incoroporated into the Malibu/Marvel Comics Ultraverse.
It is also available as a
laser print.
