| Dave Dorman and I worked on this painting for DC Comics when they had decided to start up an imprint that featured many of their old, no longer published characters. The Fly, Deadman, and The Hangman were among this illustrious crew. We agreed to do the cover for an issue of The Hangman, and both worked on the painting, which was quite large for publishing artwork (30" X 42"). Unfortunately, it never saw print as DC Comics folded their new imprint before the book was published. |
